RECORD MODE
Auto Selection of In-Mouth Picking Points
When user is as this step, the picking points are now automatically selected by TWIM. User can manually adjust each selected point by clicking on the associated name.
Pre-selected motion to record
The software automatically selects the following motion:
- Open-close
- Protrusion
- Left laterotrusion
- Right laterotrusion
- Speech
- Chewing
User can modify the selection BUT it is highly recommended to follow the list
and add some records rather than unselect.
Camera warning in case of polluting light
A new symbol may appear on top of the screen when using if the camera is impacted by polluting light or reflection. The user can click on the warning to have an explanatory message.
REPLAY MODE
Occlucurve : easier configuration
• OccluCurve now defaults to passing through the condyles and interincisal points.
• Users can lock the OccluCurve to a selected point (suggested : canine tip instead of distal lobe).
• Adjusted OccluCurve size.
• New radius sliders and +/- stepper buttons added.
Articulator parameters
Condylar slope and Bennett angles are now automatically computed and available in the Advanced module. These values are recalculated when a new motion is recorded.
Graph superposition
User can select 2+ motion by selecting in the recorded motion menu.
The selected motions are superimposed in the graphs section and are represented by different colours :
Red : Current trajectory (played portion)
Grey : All selected trajectories. Displayed portions reflect the selected time window.
Graph quick configuration
Easily customize the graph view by tapping display options:
• Points: Interincisal, Left Condyle, Right Condyle
• Planes : Frontal, Sagittal, Axio-orbital
Enhanced export menu
If user clicks on export button, he/she has the following options :
Clicking the Export button now offers:
• Save or share files via email in three
formats: .mod, .xml, .stl/.ply
• Share files with another Sphere user (e.g., lab technician)
• Request a TWIMFIT analysis
NEW FEATURE – JPS (Joint Position Simulator)
Manually move the left/right condyles and save a new mandibular position.
In the graph section: visualize the following colors:
Orange: reference condyle locations (ICP in ARB/OPT, Centric in HIN)
Blue: current condyle location
Green: saved condyle location
TWIMFIT integration
User can have more information about the TWIMFIT service by clicking on the twimfit button on the top banner.

No patient duplication
When importing a .mod file for an existing patient, the consultation is automatically added to the current profile.

5 new languages are now available in TWIM :

DA – Danish / Dansk
NO – Norwegian / Norsk
SV – Swedish / Svenska
